 My Story: Lepilloledicmela 

Hi, I'm Carmela. And I've never been just one thing.

I was born in 1984. Before becoming a Digital Creator, I worked as a seamstress, a counter clerk, a sales assistant, and a supermarket manager. Every job put me face-to-face with the public: people who get on your nerves, but also those who bring an unexpected smile to your face.

This on-the-job experience taught me a fundamental thing: we are all made up of a thousand facets.

I define myself as a Cancer with Libra rising: centered, with a strong sense of justice, but also moody, touchy, sweet, ironic, and cynical. I can't be just one thing, and I'm proud of it.

When the truth cannot be spoken... it is printed.

I have a habit of telling the truth, to people's faces. But very often, life puts us in situations where you can't really say everything you think. This is where the idea of Lepilloledicmela was born.

When I couldn't vent vocally, I started writing. I wrote my "pills": funny, sharp when needed, clear-headed, witty, and ultimately, reflective phrases. Writing them was a way for me to have fun and to give form to those thoughts that would otherwise have remained trapped.

Why not carry your thoughts around?

The idea of printing these phrases on sweatshirts, mugs, and gadgets arose from the desire to give everyone the opportunity to "wear their truth."

Every Lepilloledicmela item is a small manifesto that allows you to communicate your personality, your nuances, and what you are experiencing at that moment to the world.

It's not just a piece of clothing, it's wearable self-irony, a way of saying: "This is how I am, and it's okay."

My greatest enthusiasm is the idea that someone carries one of my phrases around, giving it voice and making it resonate with someone else.
